SPONSORSHIP:
This race is sponsored by various California Health providers as a gift to the Community in the spirit of fitness, good health and fun.

ENTRY PROCEDURE:
Race day participants whose entries are postmarked before September 5th, are guaranteed an official race t-shirt. Registration will be accepted the day of the race beginning at 6:45 a.m.

ENTRY FEE AND FORM:
Make check or money order for $15.00 ($10.00 if 18 & under) to “Ozark Ham & Turkey Festival.” Mail or deliver to California Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 85, California, MO 65018. Registration will be $17.00 ($12.00 if 18 and under) the day of the event.



START:
Late registration will begin at 6:45 a.m., the day of the race. The official starting time, rain or shine, for the Walkers is 7:30 a.m .and the runners at 7:45 a.m. at the Village Green Shopping Center. The course is relatively flat along the residential streets of California. Light refreshments will be provided at the finish line. NO STROLLERS WILL BE ALLOWED.

PRE-RACE REGISTRATION:
Upon picking up your registration packet on the day of the race, verify that the information on the tear off table at the bottom of your race number is accurate regarding name, age, and sex. Pin the race number to the front of your t-shirt. If race officials cannot see your race number as you approach the finish line you will be directed away from the finish line and disqualified.

AGE GROUPS:
10 & under11-1415-1920-2930-3940-4950-5960-6970 & over

AWARDS:
Awards will be given to top 3 finishers in each Runner and Walker category, as well as overall male and female awards in both.The race course is officially certified by the USATF: Certification code #MO9804ZBC
